A Very Successful Auction

Thanks to everyone that made our annual Winter Fundraising Auction/ Comedy Night on Wednesday, January 31st, a success. We had a great turnout. The items auctioned and the admission proceeds helped us meet and pass our fundraising goals for the evening. Some surprise items added to the mix by an anonymous donor during the course of the auction caused a great amount of excitement. The proceeds raised will go directly for scholarships for graduating seniors at Hamilton Wenham Regional High School.
Thanks to everyone that attended and helped us reach and exceed our goals!
2/2/07 Wendall Waters
Wendall Waters of the Hamilton Wenham Chronicle spoke to the changing nature of reporting the news for a small community paper. She explained that the internet has affected even the weekly newspaper's delivery of the news. Some items are released to the paper's website before they are published in newsprint.
